“Peace, Diversity, Common humanity” Geneva, 4 and 5 October

United Nations Office at Geneva (UNOG) and the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC) co-organized a high-level event “Peace, Diversity, Common humanity” to reflect on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and celebrate diversity within our common humanity.

This year, the NGIC celebrated the 880th anniversary of its eponym Nizami Ganjavi (1141-1209) whose legacy includes valuable contributions to rejecting violence and promoting peace, cultural diversity, and equality.

Kolinda Grabar Kitarović attended the panel titled Peace and Security in a Changing World Equality Within the Sustainable Development Goals.
