VIII Global Baku Forum “The World After COVID-19” from 4 to 6 November 2021.

In her remarks in the opening ceremony, on behalf of President Thomas Bach and the International Olympic Committee, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović stated:

“The one lesson we have learned from this crisis is: We need more #solidarity. More solidarity within societies and more solidarity among societies. In Tokyo we complemented our #Olympic motto by adding the word “together”. In this way we have demonstrated that we are living up to our core value of solidarity, that indeed, we can only go faster, we can only aim higher, and we are only stronger – #together.”

Kolinda Grabar Kitarović expressed how pleased she was to meet again with the President of Azerbaijan HE Ilham Aliyev.

In the panel on “Peace, Security and Human Rights: In A New Era”, Kolinda Grabar Kitarović spoke about reenergizing the Responsibility to Protect, and in panel on the “Future of EU on The Global Stage” she underlined #EU’s perhaps most valuable characteristic in international relations, stating that “the EU does not act against, but in cooperation, in promoting a rules-based international order.”
